Notice that the new rendering of the new bridge has only one tower – good news, we hope, as it means half the pile-driving of two towers!

This is the artist’s rendering of the new bridge as it was announced on February 10, 2020. Notice there is only one large tower closer to the Surrey shoreline and one shorter pillar supporting the deck on the New West side of the river. Let’s hope this means there will be less pile-driving required!
